A glowing fantasy demo kiosk surrounded by floating golden wishlist stars

Momentum is building for Ledgerbound. After a strong showing during Steam Next Fest, the demo returned for a limited window, and the game has now passed 20,000 wishlists ahead of its July 14 launch.

Why the demo landed

Early impressions singled out the writing as the standout — described as some of the most relatable and genuinely funny character work in the genre, with the fantasy setting grounded by very modern jokes (the concept of Hero Insurance chief among them). Reviewers also noted that even potentially frustrating mechanics, like time pressure, were handled charmingly enough to stay fun.

What 20,000 wishlists means

For a comedy tactics RPG from a brand-new studio, clearing 20,000 wishlists is a healthy signal. Wishlists drive Steam visibility at launch and give the developers a read on demand — and a number this size before release suggests Ledgerbound has found its audience.
